Flag of Pirates - Calico Jack - Rackham - camouflage multi cam

Jack Rackham was an English pirate who sailed in the Caribbean Sea off Jamaica during the golden age of piracy in the 18th century. He gained his nickname because of the characteristic striped pants he wore, which were made of a material called calico. The privateer became famous for the fact that there were two female pirates in his crew: Anne Bonny (for a period she was his lover) and Mary Read (she sneaked into the crew posing as a man named James Kidd), which was extremely rare among sea wolves. Ultimately, Calico Jack was captured and hanged, but his fame remained forever and today the character of Jack can be found, among others, in films (The Return of Calico Jack), TV series (Pirates/Black Sails) and computer games (Assassin's Creed).
