Embroidered patch - Rzeszów coat of arms, made using computer embroidery on a navy blue base.
After Poland regained its independence in 1918, the City Council applied to the minister of internal affairs for approval of changes in the coat of arms of Rzeszów. From then on it was to be the historical coat of arms of the city. However, ultimately, the city authorities did not receive the approval of the new coat of arms. This situation lasted until 1939. In the period of People's Poland, according to the "Stalinist fashion", the coat of arms of cities were irrelevant and there was no law sanctioning their existence. Unofficially, the City Council revived the plan from before the war and adopted the restoration of the coat of arms from before the partitions. Only after the liquidation of divisions in Europe and the change of political system in Poland was officially adopted by the City Council on August 30, 1990, stating that the coat of arms of the city of Rzeszów is the silver bachelor's cross in the blue field.
