Embroidered patch show symbol of radiation. Symbol mean radioactive radiation and radioactivity. Made by computer embroidery technique. Patch embroidered on a black background with the symbol of radiation using phosphorescent threads glowing in the dark. The international radiation symbol (also known as the trefoil) first appeared in 1946, at the University of California, Berkeley Radiation Laboratory. At the time, it was rendered as magenta, and was set on a blue background. The modern version used in the US is magenta against a yellow and black background.
Please note, that phosphorescent threads are very sensitive,
that is why we recommend to sew this patch instead of iron on.
