Parzenica is a folklore pattern related to the culture of highlanders in southern Poland. Depending on the region, this pattern looks different - ours is modeled on the Podhale areas.
This characteristic ornament is traditionally found on the trousers of polish highlanders from the Tatra Mountains, as well as on many elements of buildings and, of course, on local souvenirs. You may learn more about the meaning of the symbol in the Tatra Museum in Zakopane.
