Patch with an ornamental motif known since prehistoric times in various forms in different parts of the world. Our rosette, also called a hexapetal star, referred to the ancient symbols of the Slavs and sun worship.
We can find a circle with six stylized flower petals inscribed in it as a decorative element in clothing (belts, buckles, pins), everyday objects (spoons, dishes, tablecloths, Easter eggs) and in architecture, where a rosette could be seen on doors since the Middle Ages. Today, the symbol of highlander folk culture still lives in Podhale and southern Poland.
We have a second - reverse color version of this pattern - if that's what you're looking for.
