Patch inspired by the culture of the Far East shows a setting red sun (as in the Japanese national flag) behind one of the holiest places in this country, the Fuji volcano, and a branch of sakura, a decorative cherry tree, an equally characteristic symbol of Japan.
The highest peak in the Land of the Rising Sun, 3,776 m above sea level. It was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2013 as a sacred place and a source of artistic inspiration. Fuji-san is located southwest of Tokyo, on the island of Honshu (Honshū).
A volcano with a peak covered with snow most of the year has been a leitmotif in folk art for centuries, especially in woodcut landscapes. Even today, Fuji is a source of inspiration for architects who, when planning the construction of the world's tallest skyscraper, X-Seed 4000, based the structure on a shape reminiscent of this mountain.
