Embroidered patch - Quebec Coat of Arms - made by computer embroidery with merrow frame.
Coat of Arms of Quebe, the largest French-speaking province in Canada. Although the official capital is Quebec City, Montreal is called the most famous city in the region.
The current coat of arms was adopted in 1939 on the basis of the version from 1868 and, interestingly, sometimes also this older version is shown in parallel on official documents.
The coat has the shape of a shield and is divided into three horizontal stripes showing:
- three golden lilies on a blue background - the symbol catholic of France
- golden lion from the coat of arms of England - the symbol of England
- three green maple leaves - the symbol of Canada
